Scope
This document sets forth the general requirements for seaplanes conducting water/air drop rescue and supply operations, including aircraft platforms, standby levels, and safety measures; detailed requirements for seaplanes launching, conducting rescue operations, navigating at sea, and returning to base when carrying out water rescue/supply missions; as well as preparation and detailed requirements for seaplane supply operations. This document applies to seaplanes conducting water rescue/supply operations. Other aircraft conducting water rescue/supply operations may refer to this document for guidance.
