Scope
This standard specifies the calibration of standard force measuring instruments used in static testing of single-axis testing machines [such as tensile and/or pressure testing machines], and provides a grading method for standard force measuring instruments. This standard is generally applicable to standard force measuring instruments that determine the force applied to a measuring force body based on its elastic deformation or a quantity proportional to it.
