Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for aluminum alloy case and pipe fittings of water meters.
This standard applies to all threaded connections of water meters with a diameter (DN) of less than or equal to 40 mm, and all flange connections of water meters with a diameter (DN) of more than 40 mm, as well as aluminum alloy case and pipe fittings for drinking cold water meters with a temperature rating of less than or equal to T30 and hot water meters with a temperature rating of less than or equal to T130.
