Scope
This standard specifies the analytical procedures for determining glucose in food by enzymatic colorimetry and enzymatic electrode methods. This standard is applicable to the determination of glucose in all types of food; it is also applicable to the determination of other components in food that are converted into glucose. The minimum detection limit of the enzyme-colorimetry method in this standard is 0.01 μg/mL; the minimum detection limit of the enzyme-electrode method is 1.0 mg/100 mL.
