Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terminology and definitions of ecological cultivation standards for processing (hard fruit) tomatoes, including cultivation techniques, site environment, variety selection, production technology management, pest and disease control, harvesting, product quality, production records, and the use of ecological standard system logos in traceability and certification. This standard applies to regions where processing (hard fruit) tomatoes are cultivated. Main technical content: Ecological cultivation standards for tomato production, classified into three levels according to production safety control: - Level 1: Prohibits the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides (including synthetic pesticides and hormones), allowing only the use of biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as the adoption of green prevention and control technologies for pest and disease control. - Level 2: Prohibits the use of pesticides (including synthetic pesticides and hormones), allowing the mixed application of biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as appropriate amounts of chemical fertilizers, and the adoption of green prevention and control technologies for pest and disease control. - Level 3: Limits and restricts the use of pesticides (including synthetic pesticides and hormones), allowing the mixed application of biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as appropriate amounts of chemical fertilizers, and the adoption of green prevention and control technologies and limited chemical prevention and control technologies for pest and disease control.
