Scope

This standard specifies the minimum performance requirements for restraint systems (seat belts and their fixings) used in earthmoving machinery. Once the machine rolls over (as specified in GB/T 17922), it must be used to secure the driver or passengers within the rollover protection structure (ROPS). Alternatively, once the machine tips over (as specified in GB/T 19930), it must be used to secure the driver or passengers within the tipover protection structure (TOPS).
