Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, appearance, weight, and allowable deviations of seamless tubes made of corrosion-resistant alloys for heat exchangers, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to cold-rolled (drawn) seamless tubes made of corrosion-resistant alloys for nickel-based and iron-nickel-based heat exchangers used in corrosive media (hereinafter referred to as alloy tubes). Alloy tubes for other purposes can be used as a reference.
