Scope

This procedure is applicable to the verification of newly manufactured, in-use, and repaired magnetic-electric moving coil temperature indicators and indicator-type regulating instruments (hereinafter referred to as instruments) used with thermocouples and thermoresistors, as well as the verification of other moving coil instruments that convert physical parameters into electrical signals such as voltage (millivolt) or resistance. This includes directly acting and moving coil indicator-regulating instruments with preamplifiers.
