Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, usage instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage of aluminum and aluminum alloy cable trays (hereinafter referred to as trays). This standard applies to trays made of aluminum and aluminum alloy plates or profiles, which are mainly used for indoor and outdoor cable laying in industrial and civil buildings. It does not apply to trays made of ferrous metals and non-metallic materials.
