Scope
This standard specifies the basic safety technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for prohibited flame retardants and restricted substances such as formaldehyde, heavy metals, phenolic compounds, phthalate esters, organic tin, alkylphenols, and alkylphenol polyethylene glycol ethers in textile auxiliaries. This standard applies to auxiliaries used in fiber processing, pretreatment, dyeing and finishing, and other processes, including general dyeing and finishing auxiliaries.
