Scope
This document specifies the general principles and technical details for measuring the magnetostrictive characteristics of electrical steel strips (sheets) using single-chip measuring instruments and optical sensors. This document is applicable to the measurement of the magnetostrictive characteristics of electrical steel strips (sheets) at a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. For other magnetization frequencies ranging from 20Hz to 400Hz, the measurement can be carried out with reference to this document.
