This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, energy consumption limit grades, energy consumption statistical scope, and calculation methods for evaluating the energy consumption of cultural office paper (including newsprint) in the pulp and paper industry. This standard is applicable to the calculation, control, and assessment of energy consumption for cultural office paper production enterprises, such as copy paper (base paper), offset printing paper, single-sided writing paper, single-sided offset printing paper, writing paper, lightweight printing paper, newsprint, and brush calligraphy paper, as well as for the entry assessment of new and modified/expanded enterprises (including production lines).
