Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, and transportation of gypsum board. This standard applies to gypsum board used in buildings as non-load-bearing interior partition walls and ceiling panels, and also applies to the baseboard of decorative gypsum board that requires secondary finishing processing.
