Scope
This standard specifies the test method for mechanical vibration of reciprocating pumps (hereinafter referred to as "pumps"). This standard applies to vibration measured from the surface of the pump body, with a frequency range of 2 Hz to 1,000 Hz. This standard does not apply to manual pumps.
