Scope

This standard specifies the definitions, symbols, abbreviations, usage conditions, classification, and product marking of the inner layer PPR (random copolymer polypropylene) or PERT (heat-resistant polyethylene) of inner-welded overlap-welded aluminum-plastic composite pipes (hereinafter referred to as inner-welded aluminum-plastic pipes), as well as the inner layer PPR or PERT and PPR or PERT fittings. It also covers the materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage of these products.
This standard applies to cold and hot water piping systems, including industrial and civil cold and hot water, drinking water, and hot water heating systems.
This standard does not apply to fire extinguishing systems and fluid delivery systems that do not use water as the medium.
