Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for the design of long-distance power supply systems for fully mechanized caving and caving-and-stripping working faces in underground coal mines, the applicable conditions, the technical requirements for equipment selection, system installation, and electrical protection, etc.
This standard applies to the integrated and coordinated design of long-distance power supply systems with mobile substations and electrical control equipment located separately for fully mechanized caving and caving-and-stripping working faces in underground coal mines with an annual production capacity of 0.09 million tons or more, which are newly built, reconstructed, or expanded.
