Scope

This document specifies the rated values, usage conditions, technical requirements, test item requirements, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of general-purpose frequency conversion speed control equipment (hereinafter referred to as "speed control equipment") with a rated voltage of 1 kV or lower. This document applies to the design, production, and installation of speed control equipment with a rated input voltage of AC 1 kV and DC 1.5 kV or lower, a rated input frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, an output voltage not exceeding 1 kV, and an output frequency less than 600 Hz. Note: Speed control equipment with an AC rated input voltage of 1,140 V or an output frequency greater than 600 Hz is also typically subject to this document. The relevant performance and other requirements shall be determined through consultation between the manufacturer and the user.
