GB/T 33372-2016 Limit of volatile organic compound content in adhesives

Scope

This standard specifies the limit requirements for the volatile organic compound (VOC) content of adhesives under specified conditions. This standard applies to the limit requirements for VOC content in solvent-based, water-based, and bulk adhesives. This standard defines the determination of VOC content as organic compounds that are photochemically reactive in the atmosphere (see ASTM D 3960). This standard does not apply to the following adhesives and compounds: -- Adhesives used as intermediates or as production raw materials that have not entered the circulation field; -- Adhesives used for testing or evaluation in any research and development, quality assurance, or analytical laboratories; -- Cyanate ester adhesives. This standard does not apply to adhesives packaged in single containers of less than 100 mL. This standard does not apply to special functional surface treatments applied during material bonding.
