Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for crushing, cleaning, drying, sorting, granulation and modification of waste plastics, as well as requirements for comprehensive utilization of resources and energy consumption, and environmental protection.
This standard applies to the recycling process of waste plastics, including polyethylene (PE) plastics, polypropylene (PP) plastics, polystyrene (PS) plastics, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastics, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics, and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastics. Other types of waste plastics can refer to this standard.
This standard does not apply to the recycling of waste plastics listed in the National Hazardous Waste List.
