GB/T 19190-2013 Petroleum and natural gas industries—Drilling and production hoisting equipment

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, and testing of lifting equipment applicable to drilling and oil extraction operations.
This standard applies to the following drilling and oil extraction lifting equipment:
a lifting pulleys;
b traveling units and traveling unit hooks;
c connecting parts between traveling units and hooks;
d connecting parts and connecting ears;
e drilling hooks;
f hose and sucker rod hooks;
g lifting rings;
h casing, tubing, drill rods, and drill collars lifting pins;
i sucker rod lifting pins;
j swivel valve lifting ring connectors;
k swivel valves;
l power swivel valves;
m power subs;
n chuck (when used as a lifting pin);
o dead-man fasteners;
p drill string motion compensators;
q square drill rod rotary connectors used as lifting equipment;
r pressure vessels and pipelines installed on lifting equipment;
s safety casings (when used in lifting equipment);
t guiding trolleys for floating equipment (e.g., traveling units, hooks, etc.).
This standard sets forth requirements for two product specification levels (PSLs). These two PSL codes specify different levels of technical requirements. Unless specifically designated as PSL 2, all requirements in Chapters 4 to 11 apply to PSL 1. PSL 2 includes all requirements of PSL 1 and additional practices specified in this standard.
Additional requirements are used only when specified. Appendix A provides some normative additional requirements.
