GB/T 41705-2022 Carbon fibre—Designation system for filament yarns

Scope

1.1 This document specifies the code system for carbon fiber filament yarns, which can be used as the code basis for product specifications.
1.2 This document applies to carbon fiber filament yarns, but not to non-continuous fiber yarns, woven fabrics, braided fabrics, knitted fabrics, felts, and other carbon fiber products.
1.3 Carbon fiber filament yarns have different properties, and their codes are different. The properties selected for the code include:
a) tensile elastic modulus;
b) tensile strength;
c) linear density.
1.4 The fact that the codes of carbon fiber filament yarns are the same does not mean that their properties are completely identical. This document does not provide engineering parameters, performance parameters, or process conditions parameters for actual applications and/or process methods.
1.5 In order to illustrate the specific uses of filament yarns or to ensure the reproducibility of processing, additional requirements are given in Data Section 3 (see Chapter 4).
