GB 25990-2010 Rear-marking plates for vehicles and their trailers

Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for signage panels used to increase the visibility of the rear parts of heavy and long vehicles, low-speed vehicles, and their trailers.
This standard applies to:
a) Heavy and long vehicles, including:
1) Articulated Class II and Class III M-class vehicles;
2) Class N3 vehicles except semi-trailer trucks;
3) Class O1, O2, and O3 vehicles with a length exceeding 8.0 m;
4) and Class O4 vehicles;
b) Low-speed vehicles: M, N, and O-class vehicles with a maximum design speed of no more than 40 km/h due to structural reasons.
