Scope
This document specifies the test principles, samples, testing devices, and testing procedures for real-time detection of the dimensional stability of metal-based composites during cold and hot cycling, as well as the test results and test reports.
This document is applicable to the determination of the dimensional stability of aluminum-based composites (cold and hot cycling temperature range: 20 °C to 150 °C), magnesium-based composites (cold and hot cycling temperature range: 20 °C to 150 °C), and iron-based composites (cold and hot cycling temperature range: 20 °C to 490 °C).
