Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, abbreviations, electrical safety requirements, information security requirements, functional safety requirements, instructions, labels, and explanations for smart home appliances.
This document applies to smart home appliances (hereinafter referred to as "smart appliances") with a rated input voltage of no more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and a rated voltage of no more than 480 V for other appliances.
Note 1: This document addresses the potential hazards that may arise when smart technology is applied to appliances for household and similar purposes.
Note 2: This document also addresses the safety requirements for the interconnection of smart appliances and in specific application scenarios.
Note 3: The safety requirements for household and similar-purpose robots covered in this document also need to consider the application of other additional requirements.
