Scope

This standard specifies the basic dimensions of the sieve holes of wire mesh, perforated plates, and electroformed thin plates used as screening media for experimental sieving. This standard applies to wire mesh, perforated plates, and electroformed thin plates. For the basic dimensions of the sieve holes of wire mesh and electroformed thin plates in this standard, those less than or equal to 32 μm all adopt the R′10 series as the main size series. Given that the spacing between adjacent basic dimensions of sizes less than 32 μm is very small, the selection of basic dimensions in the R′10 series has been limited.
