Scope

This standard applies to seamless round copper tubes with an outer diameter of Φ6mm to Φ219mm, used for the distribution and delivery of the following medical gases or vacuum applications: oxygen, nitrogen monoxide, nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide, argon; respiratory gases; special mixtures of the aforementioned gases; gases for surgical instruments; anesthetic gases and vapors; and compressed air. Tubes that meet this standard can be suitable for capillary welding, brazing, hard soldering, soft soldering, or mechanical processing into complete tube equipment.
