Scope
This document describes the altitude correction method for air gap discharge voltage and insulator flashover discharge voltage of 110 kV to 750 kV and ±400 kV to ±800 kV transmission lines, substations, converter stations, etc. This document is applicable to the altitude correction of external insulation discharge voltage for transmission and transformation projects in areas with an altitude of 5,000 m or lower, and the altitude correction method can be referenced for areas with an altitude of over 5,000 m.
