Scope

This part of GB/T 311 specifies guidelines for conducting digital calculations of insulation coordination and provides generally accepted recommendations:

—— Implementing deterministic and statistical methods suitable for numerical calculations.
This part is applicable to providing information on calculation methods, modeling, and examples for insulation coordination, so as to adopt the methods proposed in GB/T 311.2—2002 and select the insulation levels of equipment or devices in accordance with GB 311.1—1997.
