YY/T 0087-2004 Electrophoresis device

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labels and instructions, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage for electrophoresis devices. This standard applies to standalone electrophoresis devices with an electrophoresis voltage not exceeding 5,000 V. For electrophoresis devices with voltages exceeding 5,000 V and integrated electrophoresis devices, reference can be made to the applicable provisions of this standard. This standard does not apply to semi-automatic or fully automatic electrophoresis analysis systems that perform procedures such as sample loading, electrophoresis, staining, decolorization, gel scanning, and result processing.
