Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for titanium and titanium alloy ingots.
This standard applies to round titanium and titanium alloy ingots and rectangular flat ingots produced by vacuum self-consumption arc furnaces (VAR) and electron beam cooling bed furnaces (EBCHM).
