Scope
This standard specifies the principle of using the explosion treatment method to eliminate welding residual stress, the determination of explosion treatment parameters, the evaluation of the effect of explosion treatment, and related construction operations and safety matters.
This standard is applicable to welded components made of metal materials with a thickness greater than 5 mm, a yield strength not exceeding 900 MPa, qualified welding quality, and good ductility (A > 10%).
