Scope
This standard specifies the model codes, types, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of stainless steel exhaust pipes used in gas-fired appliances (hereinafter referred to as exhaust pipes).
This standard applies to stainless steel exhaust pipes used in natural and forced ventilation-type gas-fired appliances that are fueled by liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, artificial coal gas, and petroleum.
