Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for protective mechanical zinc plating on metal workpieces. This standard also describes the test methods related to mechanical zinc plating.
Note: Appendix A describes a processing method for mechanical zinc plating of metal coatings. The metal suitable for mechanical zinc plating in this standard is zinc.
