Scope
This document describes the test method for the electrostatic half-life of plastic films (hereinafter referred to as "half-life"), and provides the test principles, samples and preparation, sample conditioning and standard environment for the test, test instruments, test steps, and the determination and presentation of test results for the electrostatic half-life of plastic films.
This document is applicable to anti-static packaging plastic films. Films made from other insulating materials can be referenced for implementation.
