Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, rated values, design requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation for high-voltage transformers with voltage transformer functions, using sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) at voltages of 35 kV and above in high-voltage substations. This standard applies to SF6 gas-insulated high-voltage transformers with voltage transformer functions in systems with a rated frequency of 50 Hz (or 60 Hz) and a rated voltage of 35 kV and above.
