Scope

This guidance technical document specifies the operating and maintenance cycles, projects, and technical specifications for 1,000 kV gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as GIS), and sets forth the basic requirements that operating and maintenance personnel should follow. This guidance technical document applies to indoor and outdoor installed gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS) with a rated voltage of 1,000 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz; and for complete switchgear (HGIS) between open-type and GIS, this guidance technical document can be used as a reference.
