Scope
This document specifies the types of connectors (plugs and sockets) for connecting electronic flash devices to synchronization cables, and provides the types and dimensions of four connectors.
This document does not apply to connectors used to connect power supplies to flash devices (see IEC TR 60083 and IEC 60320-1), nor to connectors used to connect handheld cameras to the synchronization cables of flash devices (see ISO 519).
