Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of scandium oxide.
This standard applies to scandium oxide used in laser, electric light sources, atomic energy, electronics, metallurgy, and other fields, which is prepared from materials such as hydrolysis mother liquor, tungsten slag, and chlorinated fumes discharged from titanium production, using extraction, ion exchange, or extraction chromatography methods.
