Scope

This part of GB/T 26548 specifies the test method for measuring hand-transmitted vibration radiation at the handle of hand-held power-driven drills and impact drills, and determines the type test procedure for the vibration amount at the handle grip of drills equipped with drill heads. The results obtained are used to compare machines of the same type but different models.
This part is applicable to straight-shaft drills, gun-handle drills, and angle drills (see Chapter 5) driven by pneumatic or other power sources and used for drilling holes in various materials. This part is not applicable to heavy-duty drills driven by screws or drills powered by internal combustion engines.
