Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, composition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of cast industrial organic glass sheets. This standard applies to colorless and colored transparent, semi-transparent, or opaque organic glass sheets (hereinafter referred to as "sheets") with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 50 mm, which are made from methyl methacrylate as a raw material and subjected to bulk polymerization in a specific mold.
