Scope
This standard specifies the real-time fluorescent PCR detection method for common animal-derived ingredients from livestock and poultry.
This standard is applicable to the qualitative detection of Taqman probe real-time fluorescent PCR for the components of cattle, yaks, buffaloes, sheep, goats, pigs, camels, elk, sika deer, reindeer, rabbits, dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, quails, pigeons, turkeys, cats, foxes, minks, raccoons, and rats in meat and processed products, internal organs, milk, and animal feed.
The detection limit (LOD) is 1% (mass fraction).
