This document describes the test method for determining the average diameter of wool fibers using an airflow instrument. This document is suitable for fiber diameter testing of homogeneous wool such as greasy wool, washed wool, carbonized wool, and combed wool. This document is not suitable for heterogeneous wool fibers.
