Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, materials, classification, structural forms and markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) structural wall pipes for building drainage (hereinafter referred to as "pipes").
This standard applies to hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) structural wall pipes for building drainage, which are extruded and molded from polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material and with the addition of necessary additives.
This standard does not apply to foamed pipes.
