Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements and content of the evaluation of compressed air systems (hereinafter referred to as the evaluation), including terms and definitions, roles and responsibilities, evaluation methods, parameters and measurements, collection and evaluation of raw data, analysis of evaluation data, and reporting and documentation of evaluation results.
Appendix A of this standard provides a basic description of the evaluation, and Appendices B to E provide guidance information for various types of data collection.
This standard applies to energy efficiency evaluation activities of compressed air systems, including:
