This standard applies to most lighting fixtures used for general lighting (such as tungsten filament lamps, tubular fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, and various types of gas discharge lamps, excluding light sources mainly emitting monochromatic light, such as low-pressure sodium lamps). This method can also be applied to modified daylight.
