This part of GB/T 8243 specifies the ability to determine the target value of the static pressure resistance of full-flow oil filters for internal combustion engines, and establishes the test method for determining the size of the static pressure burst resistance and identifying the failure mode.
This part is not applicable to aviation filters and plastic-type filters.
