Scope

Scope: This document describes the types, damage symptoms, and occurrence characteristics of major harmful organisms of dragon fruit, and stipulates the basic principles and specific technical requirements for the comprehensive prevention and control of major harmful organisms of dragon fruit. This document is applicable to the comprehensive prevention and control of harmful organisms of dragon fruit in Guangdong Province; Main technical content: (1) Principles of pest control: The integrated pest management technology of dragon fruit adheres to the principle of "prevention-oriented and comprehensive control", and adopts measures such as agricultural prevention, physical prevention, biological prevention, chemical prevention, and ecological regulation to effectively control pests and diseases of dragon fruit, ensuring the safety of dragon fruit production, product quality, and ecological environment, and achieving the goal of increasing production and efficiency in the industry. (2) Seedling quarantine: Ulcer disease in new planting areas of dragon fruit is mainly transmitted by seedlings. Therefore, strict quarantine of foreign dragon fruit seedlings is necessary to check whether the seedlings have disease spots. If there are disease spots, the diseased seedlings should be removed. If scale insects are found, effective measures should be taken to eliminate them and prevent the further spread of pests. (3) Agricultural prevention: ① Cultivation management: Rational pruning and strengthening garden cultivation management. Apply sufficient base fertilizer and organic and phosphorus-potassium fertilizers to cultivate healthy plants.
