Scope

This part of GB/T 8944 provides detailed instructions on how to determine the dryness of pulp packages and pulp blocks (rapidly dried pulp) in pulp boards, and calculate the sales quality of the batch of pulp. This part is applicable to various pulp board pulp packages and pulp blocks. It is suitable for most pulps, with each pulp package weighing approximately 200 kg and consisting of 4 to 6 (or stacked) pulp blocks of identical thickness. This part is also applicable to pulp packages that are not composed of pulp blocks but are prone to stratification. When drilling, if the drilling device heats up significantly due to friction, this method is not applicable, such as the case with certain strong chemical pulps or semi-chemical pulps. This part is not applicable to composite pulp packages.
