Scope
This standard specifies the product requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for biodegradable polyester roll-up bags (hereinafter referred to as roll-up bags). This standard applies to roll-up bags (also known as tear-open bags or puncture-resistant bags) made primarily from biodegradable polyester. The term "biodegradable polyester" in this standard refers to polymers that contain ester bonds in their chemical structure and are capable of biodegradation.
