Scope

This document specifies the structure and dimensions of the MJ threaded double-ear bracket sliding self-locking nut with countersunk holes for aerospace applications (hereinafter referred to as the self-locking nut), with strength grades of 900 MPa at 125°C), 900 MPa at 235°C), and 900 MPa at 425°C).
1) When testing with bolts of the highest strength grade, the nut can withstand the minimum tensile strength load at ambient temperature without failure.
2) After the nut is subjected to the highest operating temperature, it will recover to room temperature without permanently altering its original properties. The maximum operating temperature depends on the material or surface treatment state of the nut.
